Coming Soon to Rocklin: New Nugget Market & Retail Center Along Highway 65

Rocklin residents have something big to look forward to — a brand-new Nugget Market–anchored retail center is officially under construction along the Highway 65 corridor. The project is already taking shape, and once complete, it will bring new dining options, retail spaces, and everyday conveniences to one of the fastest-growing areas of South Placer.

As someone who lives and works in the Rocklin–Roseville corridor every day, it’s easy to see why there’s so much local buzz about this development. This new center will add both charm and convenience to daily life for neighborhoods like Whitney Ranch, Sunset Whitney Recreation Area, and Stanford Ranch.


 

What’s Planned for the New Center

Based on the recently approved design review, the development includes:

  • 10 commercial buildings

  • Approximately 94,500 square feet

  • Nugget Market as the primary anchor

  • Retail shop spaces surrounding the grocery store

  • A highway-commercial zone on the west side, expected to include:

    • A gas station

    • Fast-casual/quick-serve restaurants

    • Neighborhood service businesses

While the final tenant list hasn’t been released yet, these types of centers often attract daily-use conveniences, coffee shops, boutique retail, and dining favorites.

For many Rocklin residents, it means shorter drives, better choices, and a high-quality shopping experience right in their backyard.


Expected Timeline

No official opening date has been released.
However, with framing, roofing, and foundational work already underway, projects of this size typically take 18–24 months from this phase. I’ll keep you updated as milestones continue and tenants are announced.
