The Holidays Are in the Air Across the Sierra Foothills

by Scott Williamson

Christmas tree lots are lighting up, the evenings are getting crisp, and you can feel the Holidays settling into Roseville and the Sierra Foothills. With Thanksgiving just days away, this week marks the unofficial kickoff to the most festive, family-centered season of the year.

As our community gets ready for gatherings, travel, football, and plenty of great food, it’s also a moment to pause and appreciate everything that makes living here so special — from the trails of Westpark and Fiddyment Farm to the lights in Downtown Roseville and the rolling foothills out toward Lincoln and Granite Bay.

A Moment of Gratitude

Thanksgiving week is always a reminder of how fortunate we are to live in a community filled with kindness, connection, and opportunity. I’m grateful every day for the trust, conversations, and support I’ve received from homeowners and families across Roseville, Rocklin, and the Sierra Foothills.

This year especially, I’m thankful for the chance to build stronger local ties — through videos, blogs, neighborhood updates, and simply being present in the community.

Holiday Giving: A Small Preview

Every year, my family and I look for ways to support local families during the holiday season.
I’ll be sharing more soon about this year’s community-focused giving project, built around helping families in need enjoy a warm, joyful holiday.

(Stay tuned — details coming the week after Thanksgiving.)

Wishing You a Wonderful Thanksgiving Week

Whether you’re hosting the big meal or keeping it simple, I hope your week is filled with good food, good company, and a chance to slow down and enjoy the season settling in across the Sierra Foothills.
